Conservatives expressed their heartfelt support for border czar Tom Homan after he revealed in an interview that he and his wife are living separately because of death threats he has received for his involvement in the Trump Administration’s intense crackdown on illegal immigration.

For background, in an interview with New York Post journalist Miranda Devine on June 25, 2025, border czar Tom Homan explained that he and his wife were living separately due to threats on his life from anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activists. However, the border czar explained that his wife had urged him to stick with his position, showing her faith in her husband and the impact of his work on the safety of American citizens.
In the interview, Homan told Devine, “My wife’s living separately from me right now,” adding that their separation started “because I worked for many hours,” but clarifying that the two were living apart “because of the death threats against me.” Furthermore, Homan said, “I see her as much as I can, but the death threats against me and my family are outrageous.”
Next, Homan opened up about the difficult decisions he had to make to assume his role of Trump Administration border czar, explaining to Devine, “Even my wife said, ‘You know, it’s a huge pay cut,’ because I’m doing good in the private sector.” He added, “She’s in the middle of remodeling — months of stuff — and all that stopped because I’m leaving the private sector, going back to a government paycheck.”
However, Homan clarified that his wife had encouraged him to stay in his role despite the struggles. He told Devine, “She said, ‘You need to go back or we’ll get divorced,” adding, “Because if you don’t go back, you’ll be waking up every day, pissed off that you didn’t go back, and I’ve gotta live with four more years of you being pissed off, so go back and do the job.’”Furthermore, Homan told Devine that he was “not going anywhere” despite how difficult his job could be, saying, “I mean, I had a thousand protestors at my house in Upstate New York, my lake house.” He added, “I’m not going away, ’cause I know how important it is to secure our border,”

After Homan’s New York Post interview went viral online, conservative influencer Paul A. Szypula called on his followers to “pray for the safety of Homan and his family,” adding, “You know how horrible leftists can be when it comes to threatening violence.”
In response to Szypula’s post, conservatives expressed their heartfelt support for the Homan family. The X user The American Irishman wrote, “This man is a patriot and has given up a lot for his country. We owe him a debt of gratitude.” Another user chimed in, “Homan is a real American hero. Many thanks to him and his family for the sacrifices they are making to keep us safe.”

  • I never told my husband’s mistress that I owned the resort where she tried to humiliate me. My husband brought her to “our” anniversary dinner, claiming she was a client. She spilled red wine on my dress on purpose. “Oops, maybe the maids have a spare uniform for you,” she laughed. I snapped my fingers. The General Manager appeared instantly with two security guards. “Madam?” he asked me. “This guest is damaging the property,” I said, pointing at her. “Blacklist her from every hotel we own worldwide. Now.
  • At the grocery store, my daughter froze: “Mom… that woman with Dad—isn’t she the one from my school?” I followed them and uncovered a truth I was never meant to see.
  • I never told my parents I was a judge. On Christmas night, our house burned down because of my sister’s recklessness. I escaped through flames, bleeding, yet still carried her to the ER. When my parents arrived, they didn’t ask if I’d survive. My father slapped me hard and roared, “If your sister suffers, I’ll destroy you.” My mother shoved a $100,000 hospital bill into my chest. No one saw my burns. Trembling, I made one call: “Launch a fire investigation. I’m pressing charges—against my own family.”
  • At his promotion party, my husband publicly betrayed me while I was 7 months pregnant. His mistress whispered, “No one can save you now.” He thought I was alone, until I made one call. Ten minutes later, my father—the majority shareholder he’d never met—walked in with the police. Ethan’s face turned white as he realized his “perfect life” was just a trap I was finally closing.
  • For 20 years, I was the quiet neighbor who mowed lawns and never raised his voice. But when I found my daughter shivering on my porch at midnight, bleeding because her husband kicked her out, something inside me broke forever. I put her to sleep, picked up my old baseball bat, and drove to his house. He opened the door expecting my daughter begging to come back. Instead, he saw a father who had absolutely nothing left to lose.
